Judging: Business Model Canvas, visual design and video

80 - 100: Distinction. Students produced a structured, integrated and innovative business plan and presentation video that contains sufficient information for a funding decision
60 - 79: Merit. Students produced a structured and integrated business plan and presentation video that contains sufficient information for a funding decision
50 - 59: Pass. Students produced a structured business plan and presentation video that contains sufficient information for a funding decision
0 - 49: Fail. Did not meet assessment requirements and / or non-submission

Creativity and Innovation
1) Is the proposed business idea new and original? Is there a ""WOW"" factor?
2) Do creative solutions play an essential or unique part in the business? Is the proposed solution available now or has been proven to be feasible?
3) Is the business idea relevant to the Challenge and will it be effective in solving the issue raised?"
Finance and Production
1) Is the business model explained clearly?
2) Can the operational processes be applied in a real-world setting?
3) Are the startup costs and revenue considered well to make the business sustainable?
Marketing & Research
1) Are the target market and customers clearly identified?
2) Is the business ethical and can it contribute to achieving sustainable development?
3) Are the competitive advantages clearly shown and is there convincing data that the business may be successful in the potential market?"
Communication
1) Do the business plan (Business Model Canvas) and video presentation stand out and deliver the business idea concisely and effectively?
2) Does the business plan (Business Model Canvas) or video presentation introduce a prototype (in 2D or 3D)?
3) Are sources of information (ideas, documents, websites, etc.) used to support the business plan or video presentation properly acknowledged?"
